12 mm shotgun shells.

Friend if mine picked up a twist action shotgun. Appears to be french. It takes 12mm shells. Sort of 410 cut down. Anyone have any idea where I can find some? Or reloading is an option?

Check out Rocky Mountain Cartridge.
They make a complete .410 / 2" kit including full brass.
They can still ship shotshell components to Canada I believe.
Great people to deal with.

could make them with .303 brass most likely

How about .444 marlin or .450 Marlin brass? just a guess but one of them might work

I was thinking 44-40 brass and or cut .410
The shells I saw that came with it look like 1 7/8 long 410 shells.
