Did a quick ladder test between the 2 bullets today. 2x fired Peterson srp brass and cci br4s. Measured with a garmin chronograph. Barrel has 57 rounds since last cleaned. Charges dispensed with a rcbs chargemaster and verified with a gempro. Usually fed 123eldm 140eldm and had fantastic results with the 100eldvt/varget.

Id revisit 130 CX with 5@ 41.9 Load 5 and see how it performs and then tweak seating depth. Thats just me thou

That what i see too. Probably do 5 at 41.9 and 42.2 and if velocity stays flat, pick one and tune from there.

Barnes suggests starting at 0.050 off and going back in 0.025 steps. Seems gross but might revisit them at 0.050, probably be unnecessary given the way the 130s shoot from this rifle, but hey, components are cheap.

Why #5? Genuinely interested.
Velocity is very close between 41.9 and 42.2 indicating there is a possible node around that charge weight. Bullets are touching on target at those charges too so hopefully be a sweet spot for this rifle. Have to load more rounds at each of those charges to confirm, coulda been a fluke so more rounds to tell the story.

Hmmm I would have picked 3 and four myself. Same same I guess.

3 and 4 look okay too, but I really shouldn't even be paying much attention to impacts at all on this test. More about velocity on this one. But really, if that was the case I could be chasing the lrx too. It's hard to ignore smaller overall group from the cx though. What that really means to me is that I'm closer to a good seating depth with the cx than the lrx.
