if you have a rifled barrel I would recommend and that's what I use is the light field slugs by far the best out there but if you have a smooth bore challenger slugs are way to go to

Don't dismiss the rifled slugs either. The Challenger ones are usually very accurate. This is thru my BPS smoothbore but is the typical results I have got with many other guns including the rilfed barrel ones.

Browning BPS "Buck Special", 24" smoothbore with rifle sights. 3 shots @ 50 yards (2 3/4" 12 gauge, 1 1/8oz. Challenger slugs)

If you can get your hands on a box or a few boxes of the Rem Core-Lotk's try them out. Best slugs I have ever shot and grouped just over an inch at 100 with my older 870 Cant. I am now just starting to test out slugs on my TC rifled 12guage barrel I got off a member on here and really wish I could find a few boxes to test out of the Core-lokt's. I ran the Acutips yesterday and liked them but wonder what kind of groups I would get out of the core-lokt's

Um, I'd be more than happy with a 2-3" group at 50 yards. Deer have a 8-12" target area so why waste money on more shells??

i find the accutips to be the same group size at 100 yards and devastating knock-down power b.c of the .58 cal projectile....as of now i`m sighted in for the accutips and intend to keep it that way for now...cant find core-lokts anywhere...hence i dont want to sight in with them b.c when i need them i might not find them, accutips are readily available
