EDIT: So went down to the gunshop and found a Weaver 423M for $12.40 which works with the factory torx screws. I could have drilled it out to use the middle hole but with a shim from a pop can it is quite solid with just the two screws and loctite. I did have to cut a bit off the base since I wanted to use the sights with a see thru mount. There aren’t a lot of slots in this base but it does the job for the scope Im using.
Be careful it feels like the holes could strip taking too deep a breath while tightening.
I got a Little Badger from my neighbor. Its in about new condition. I took it out shooting and it seems to do alright on the 25 yard range and its actually pretty fun to shoo and I think reloading it is pretty neat too. I put a 4x scope on it and the accuracy seems fairly good too. When I brought it home it has a bit of flex to the rail. It is tightened but not too tight as I did some reading about how the screws can strip. Is there a generic rail for this rifle that anyone has tried? I know there are a couple companies that sell them for around $75 but would prefer to spend much less as the rifle isn't worth all that much. I may run down to my LGS and see if we can match something up though.
I wanted some texture so used Gaff tape here and there. Its really great stuff.
