130 ttsx in short barrel 20 inch 308

I was wondering if anyone has a pet load for 308 with 130 ttsx. Im shooting a model 7 Remington. I have tried Varget but didn't like the results that much. Lots of jump to the lands. Trying not to burn up too much loading components.

Not familiar with the TTSX but I've been using 125gr Ballistic Tips in my 20" 308 forever and they just work. I've been using Varget in my loads and getting over 3000 fps at the muzzle.

I have an 18.6" barrel, and I settled on 45.3gr of H-4895 with the 130gr TTSX. HTH.

I'm also using H4895 with that bullet. At 44 grains. Shoots very small groups.

45.5 gr of N140, CCI LRP #200, and IVI case. That's in a rem 700 with a 24" barrel with a 1-10" twist

Not a Pet load per se but that produced the best results when I did some load development/testing before hunting season.

Barnes load data is easily found online. They recommend TAC. I would try that or blc2 first.

I started with Win 748 and had an OK load for my 20” 308. Ended up with Tac for much higher velocity and very good accuracy. Somewhere up near Barnes’ max charge.
