14" BBL - Why???

And they're actually fun to shoot and god forbid you or anyone else would consider having fun dumb. If it doesn't appeal to you then don't get one but why criticize people who actually see a practical use for a 14" gun?

Just pokin fun! .................. Notice "smilly face" on reply.

If a 14" bbl blows yer hair back ................ Then have at'er :D

No problem. I may be a little touchy on the subject because of the reaction from the odd clay target snob when they see the short gun. Is that LEGAL? It's so LOUD! Can you hit anything with THAT? Whaddaya plan to do hold up a bank? And other assorted bull####.

I just tell them my other gun is a Perazzi.

Short barreled shotguns are fun to shoot and make a pretty decent snowman defence gun:D

I like to compare it to, how "short barreled pistols" became prohibited. I am aware this present government thankfully is not in that past train of thought.
But one never knows what is in store for us, when some day, (god forbid) the federal government changes parties! Have at least one for now, if you desire so, while you can....
Besides I cannot think of an easier firearm to switch barrels on. As long as you do not mind having two tubes per frame.....

I dunno....I have got really favourable comments and feedback from people at several ranges...generally the old women like shooters who find black guns and short things offensive are upset because to them its a reminder of their incredibly small units....

I think its great that we can own these interesting shotties. Personally I like the compact look of guns..

the best is taking the 14 to do some skeet or trap with a brobee and an eotech. just pisses off the old jakes something fierce!!

Tell them that ever since you gave up steroids you haven’t been able to maintain your edge until now. ;)

Belive it or not BUT I had a chance to shoot some hand thrown clays with a Norc shorty...I hit more with that gun than I did with my 20 inch Mossberg 590a. Granted neither are clay guns but that lil' cannon sure did the trick. It was great until my buddy who was handing me shells thought it cute to pass me some 3 inch mag loads...took me days to shake of the 'flinch'.:D

Gotta love a 'Urban/Tactical' clay shoot!

Interesting, rifle sights, bobbed grip.... Different, I'll give you that. :) Needs a reblue somethin' serious mind you ;)

I'd leave just as is, theres something about a well used shotgun that says "get the **** off my land!" better than a shiny new one. Thats why I keep a beat up Stevens 620.

Okay, I'll ask the ignorant question about the 870 in the pic with the short barrel and the bobbed grip: isn't overall length a legal issue? And what's the min. length overall? Asking cause I don't know.
