14" Ricol Vs. 12" Yildiz Tombstone

My Tombstone is a great tool for is intended purpose, after installing a metallic sight on it, i found out this Yildiz to be perfectly regulated easy to 60 yards, in conjonction with 7/8 ounces Rem 3 inch slugs at 1875fps, it's the perfect thumper wilderness companion... JP.

To Brian46,

Rifled barrels are impossible for Turkish shotgun makers to make, it is their firearms legislation but on the new model we did something to have some rifling available. Both models are 20ga with 16 inch barrels and one barrel will have option of partial rifling to give enough twist for shooting sabot slugs. Please don't mind the background on the photos they are from rough assembly area

Are these longer barrel sets going to be available seperately for those of us with 14" models?

Just ordered a RICOL.

I also have used a Maverick HS-12 for many years as a very portable, multi-use defence/bear/camp/grouse shotgun.

I'll be doing a side by side comparison as soon as I receive the RICOL.

I have a tombstone, the quality is impressive to say the least.

These two posts really piqued my interest. I was also quite impressed with the Tombstone when I got mine, but never actually tested the regulation of the barrels...basically just made lots of noise and perforated lots of cans. After reading your post, caramel, I went outside with an assortment of slugs I had on hand, leftovers from testing of other guns. These are just old-fashioned slugs, nothing fancy, no sabots, but all of them produced Minute Of Dead Deer accuracy at 50 yards. In particular, the four remaining orphaned rounds of Truball slugs that I found printed two from each barrel into a nice round 4-inch cluster at 50 yards. This was done using just the single bead front sight. I really must experiment with some sort of rudimentary rear sight, something like the one that appears in the Ricol photos. And I definitely need to find some more Truballs!

For some reason my phone won't load any links to Corwin arms to sight. Even from Google it says error. To bad because I would have bought a few guns from them buy now

Sometimes that happens if it's an older link and that model is sold out, just try the regular sight and look through the firearms section.

My BlackBerry won't bring it up. Even thru Google. I've tried many times. I just get an error 404 not found or a white screen. I don't own a computer just my BlackBerry

We are sold out of them for 2 months, the link will not work, I always remove all the products from the website which are out of stock
