Has anybody got a 14" barrel threaded for chokes?
Say for a Benelli, Mossberg, norinco/Rem etc. I assume it's bad for slugs, but helpful for shot.

My Fabarm's (14" and 11" barrels) are threaded for chokes right out of the factory. However, I haven't purchased any chokes for them.

Some were lucky enough to get the Modified barrel with their 14" 590A1.

Are the Fabarm ones available? I was just reading another thread on them and just got confused lol. That Fabarm is really nice. The Benelli seems good, at least in the store.
Ya I was way too slow with those A1's.

My fabarm is threaded for Beecher chokes. My Asil bulldog uses the typical internal chokes and comes with 3.

For a 14" ive never really needed anything except cyl

I had a 12.5 Remington done recently (Remchokes). Worked great. I generally have been leaving the IC choke in, which is a good choice for buck and slugs.

FWIW, Remington's website recommends IC for forster slugs, not CYL.

We shoot slugs through LM or Mod chokes at 3 gun matches all the time.

A breacher choke I guess is an outie, not an innie. Is this how all the Fabarms are? I gotta look on the website again. ( hate that site )

The only thing with remchokes is you need a decent wall thickness at the muzzle. Dlask had to send my 18.5" Maverick 88 barrel back because the wall thickness would have been paper thin if he'd have threaded it. I believe Winchokes use a smaller thread OD and can be used in lighter walled barrels. Benelli's can't be done because they are chrome lined.
