Let me sell you this rock. It's one of a kind, millions of years old. Lots of uses - paperweight, door stop, hot-rock massage. A bargain at only $25. Am I crazy to try to sell this? Or is the guy who buys it crazy?

Let the rifle be listed for $2000, someone eager enough may bite!

$400 markup a week after they sold out. Some people are ambitious.

Guess the market will decide. I for one will never pay that much for essentially a pistol grip sks with a 5/30 mag.

To each their own.

A fool and their are soon parted...........
Just cause someones trying to make a dollar or two doesnt mean one has to oblige them now does it ?

Rob

I wouldn't pay $900 for a Type 81. An SKS is better and cheaper. A fool and his money are soon parted.

What makes the SKS better? I'd argue the Type 81 is far superior in it's true form.

30 round magazines, faster reloading, easier handling, pistol grip, durable, more reliable than an SKS, can launch grenades, compact folding stock, and more.

The SKS is great, but there is a reason the Chinese PLA went from the SKS to the Type 56 to the Type 81.

They all shoot peasants in the back of the neck while they are on their knees equally well.

Just like my Dad used to say . there is a sucker born every day . the worst person to a seller is an educated consumer. and I like to be educated. I was in a Home depot one time and I was talking to buddy about how to do some plumbing . well I couldn't understand some of the stuff he was telling me and he had an attitude so he said to me well I could just come over and do it for you . I said how much would I be looking at to get the job done . he said whatever the market will bear . I got pissed and bought the stuff and left. it's one thing to do a job or sell someone something and its another thing to hose someone.

I've had people I know get screwed by others and I always do my best to get them to go and get their money back . and sometimes I go with them .

Did anyone happen to see the BRS 99 listed in EE yesterday for $4000?

Its was marked SPF last night

Now its listed for $3000 today!

Buyer fell through ?

The Type 81 will be collectors items no doubt. Not many made and imported into Canada. In a popular round. They won't be bought to be ran in competitions, they'll be bought based on their appearance and rarity as the years go on and the people who don't collect sell them off.

I like them just cant afford one right now . I think anything under a grand is a deal in the firearms world for a military rifle. What are type 97 selling for. Arent they like $1200. The original price of the 81 at $999 I thought was reasonable. It hands down beats an SKS and even an SKS D in style and function. $1400 is a bit much for a rifle that was $1200 all in but if u missed the boat and these are the only ones that are coming (I have heard that before) then u might find a buyer

Ya I saw that. Looks like he sold one of the barrels and some mags so he likely reposted whats left.

Still $3K though?? I sold my NR version about 5 years ago for $1600. Guess I should have held on to it....
