I ordered 1Lb of H-4895 also from Cabalas they wanted a 132.00 dollars to ship I canceled my order.Crooks

I removed the powder from my order, I still need the other items so the rest is being sent.
They said that the primers were also dangerous goods but they don't bother requesting special
Shipping for those . I'll try budget if I can figure out how to use EMT .

Choose your own carrier and ship collect. I work for a major carrier here in Alberta and we have a 15.00 minimum (under one hundred pounds) on TDG instruct them to mark the bill of lading "hold for pickup" to reduce your cost further.

best way to get powder is to get in on a group buy and order from a distributor.

better pricing on the powder and usually a flat rate for shipping up to 400lbs, $100 - $150 shipping

the more you people you get the cheaper the shipping for you!

when I bought powder, I got 10 lbs and they other guy got 28 lbs so he paid 2 thirds of the shipping

Cabelas is out to lunch, just get your local shop when he does
An order , to get what u want,he sells product, u get what
U want, the hazmat fees are paid by shop but your powder is
Same price, usually if I pay in advance , they order what u want
U might look at ordering a larger container like an 8lb jug
If u use 1 powder exclusively, also gunshows are places to get
Gd deals on powder, higginsons is ex to deal with no crazy shipping

Do you live near a Cabelas? Shipping from store to store is Free and you just pick it up at the store. Now if you don't live anywhere near a Cabelas or have friends that can help you out it may get pricey!

I had the same experience with Cabelas. I asked them if people ever decide to buy after hearing the shipping price. The lady said sometimes people way up north buy a lot to make it worthwhile...

Make sure you're buying in bulk. I got a quote of $92 from them yesterday to ship a 1 pound container of N320 ($45). I really want to get some N320, but I'll wait until someone has stock local.

Hazmat fees tend to be the same for 20 lbs or 1 lb of powder. If you are going to buy powder online make it worthwhile by buying in quantity. You may as well buy locally as spend that money on hazmat / dangerous goods shipping fees. hings work out well for online buying and shipping, but generally powder is not one of them.
