Very nice group. I like the rifle too and wish I had the cash for one. It goes to show that the venerable .22 has a lot more potential than people give it credit for.

yup anyone that tells you a 22 is not accurate has never done much shooting with one.nice shooting and a nice rifle.
 
Clayne. Thanks for posting. The cz scout IS the most accurate 22lr. Cz makes. Nice to have someone show the physical evidence. I have seen some classified results and can assure your the cz scout is no slouch
 
Very good groups.
Many people underestimate the potential of a 22 rimfire with decent ammo.
Here are a couple from my 40X Remington at 200 meters on a very calm morning. [Small squares are ½" x ½"]

Nice! If I do my part I can get 1" groups at 100m with my Savage MarkII and Standard Plus. Haven't tried pushing it further but now I think I'll have to give it the proverbial shot. How much were the rounds dropping at that distance?
 
Those are grate groups at that distance using CCI SV. Yes a 22 with good ammo can be very accurate. I shot the following target on a sunny dead calm morning this summer.

Clayne's targets sure prove it to be one accurate little rifle. Maybe we should start a cz target thread and see which cz 22 can shoot the tightest groups at 200 yards.

Hardly, my heavy barrel 455 THV will shoot groups inside of any Scouts' groups.
Very high end ammo like Midas will do low .2's at 50 yrds and lesser ammo like SK standard + will regularly print .25-.3" groups. Have not seen any scout get down to these sizes. Iron sights, short sight radius, light rifle ect.. implies a toyed down version of a man's rifle intended for beginners and smaller framed children. I don't denounce its usefulness as a scout rifle but it won't measure up to the real rifles that shoot like a laser off a solid bench set up.

This thread isn't about my gun is bigger than your gun. Set up a scout with a 36 power scope, bench it , use good ammo and and see what happens. Its not hard to do. you will no longer be a doubter. Its just that simple. It measures up just fine.
