looking for data on 147 grain 308 bullets they were pulled they have a steel core bt

start with a starting load for a 150 grain hunting bullet and work up - should be pretty similiar

You won't run into any issues if you use data for 150 grain boat tails. H4895, BLC-2, W748, Varget will work like magic.

I have loaded it in several different rifles and just use any regular load. I actually start at the midway point between low and hot loads and have never seen any bad signs. I have noticed a 200 fps speed increase over a comparable flat based bullet. so that little boattail is doing its job, flies very nice.
