15-22 weight loss?

Just wondering how much weight I could lose on a stock 15-22?
5.5lbs is what Im starting at. Ive seen a 7" cf handguard and carbon stock.
However if my mah is right. It would only drop a half a pound.
How light have you seen the 15-22?
Id like to get to under 4lbs please!!!!

Maybe do something with the barrel? Seems like it's the only part of the rifle that isn't pretty light to start with, considering the handguard is already plastic. I've looked around and not many aftermarket barrels available, but there's a company in the UK called Suffolk Rifle that will custom make 15-22 barrels. You could get something a bit shorter which would help cut down on some weight. Not sure what type of shooting you're doing though, since going shorter might affect your accuracy, but if the object is to get the gun as light as possible this might be the ticket?
