$15 CCI primer price increase at the shooting edge?

Call me crazy but $65 for CCI primers??? I always see them for $50, was there a price increase I don't know about?

Low Canadian dollar and the demand is high in the USA for stuff so they just put the price up because they can sell all they can make. Free market system at work.

Was just told on FB that Tenda has them on sale right now for 39.99!!!! and a flat rate of $15 shipping when total is over $600.
Bought 15,000 SP and 5,000 LR and 5,000 SR... they didn't have any LMR in stock so I still need to find them.

Was just told on FB that Tenda has them on sale right now for 39.99!!!! and a flat rate of $15 shipping when total is over $600.
Bought 15,000 SP and 5,000 LR and 5,000 SR... they didn't have any LMR in stock so I still need to find them.

PS. The flat rate shipping is actually $20, as long as there's no powder (dangerous goods) in the order.

Yeah from what I'm seeing they are $20 to $25 in the us... I try to not shop at the edge anyway, this just makes it easier lol.

Year and a half ago I bought 14,000 Federal Match 200 magnum small pistol primers from the Edge for $36.00 per 1000 over several weeks. I couldn't believe no one was buying them. Sure glad I did now. A few weeks ago they had the same ones for over $50 per 1000.

Powder and primer prices seem to be insane right now. You would have to be nuts to buy anymore than you need at this instant. Prices are driven by the US market: gun prices have crashed, I believe ammo prices are coming down. It seems likely component prices will be next.
