$150 for a crate of 7.63x39 in Saskatoon HURRY

I wonder what percentage of CGNers are actually realistically able to take advantage of this sale? Less than 1% ?

due to lack of space , I only buy ammo when I run out so it great to deal with site sponsor BUDGET SHOOTER SUPPLY , their 1200 rounds for $225 shipped .

I had to laugh today. went into my local gun store today (island outfitters in Victoria)for their boxing week sale. they wanted $350 for a 1440 rnd crate of surplus. WTF? How do these stores stay in business?

Agreed with this. They are pretty much the only game in town for a city of 350k population. I hear the pawn shop in town is dabbling in firearms now?? I miss Gordons!

This is what happens when you line on an island. However, Tradex will ship a crate of Romanian surplus for $199 + GST, a little more than Saskatoon's but still, pretty affordable at a little over 15c a round.

this isn't superstore , im sure the staff keeps an eye on everybody who enters, I would if I work at a gun store .

How many people working the till? I'd buy one and then put it in the car, turn around and buy again! (and again and again)

They probably do keep an eye on customers, but at the same time if they're trying to sell all the ammo then I wouldn't foresee a big hassle with going back a couple of times. Really if a shooter was taking the time to buy a crate and walk it to his car each time, as long as I'm getting sales then it would be fine with me. Doesn't hurt to try at least, all they can say is sorry you've exceeded your limit for today.

Saskatoon Gunworks is a small outfit with just a few staff... I am sure I could have figured out a way to buy more, but I am just as happy to see a bunch of other guys enjoy a good deal too... That is why I posted the thread, even tho most on CGN can't get there... For those who can it's a nice little New Years present

its a "loss leader" but its true it doesn't hurt to try (its worth it), especially if you were buying a ton of stuff . the staff/manager would be best to judge the demand and be mindful that there is some left for others who have driven in the snow to get there.
