Interesting report. I have a standard M&P 9 - early model. I've added a Storm Lake barrel and Apex trigger kit. The gun is awesome, but I've spent total around $1400 including the gun. Mind you, I am VERY happy with it.

I would agree with you. I wanted to try the Mepro's but the factory sights are more than adequate.
