Standard short action... did the rifle have the standard 22" barrel? If so, the barrel channel will fit any M77 MKII Short Action standard 22" barrel rifle from .222 to .350 RM... but will not fit the long action 24" barrelled rifles, including 25/06, 7 RM, 300 & 338 WM...

The 350 RM may require a little filing to widen the magwell... a five minute job.

Next time just go with ... edited posts of three .'s seems to be a popular thing with some, and appears to be acceptable.

This is a public forum... think of it as a group conversation... nobody likes to come into a conversation and only get half the story... you edited and removed your question, which left my answer hanging... I am sure others might have the same question and could benefit from the information in the dialogue... it is best to just leave your post up for future reference and the benefit of the community. Otherwise, for private questions and answers the PM system is the way to go.
