A co-worker gave me a 16 gauge percussion muzzle loader with damascus barrels. It is a plain John Manton in a wood case. It includes accessories, but is missing the ram rod.
It is in good condition, the stock may have been refinished sometime in the guns history.
Any idea what it would be worth? Any help is greatly appreciated.

I had a hard time getting the images to load; try copying and pasting the lowest line in the box that opens below the thumbnail; that should allow the images to be viewed directly in your post.

It looks like a nice english percussion shotgun apparently in its original case plus a mold for shooting roundball out of it in addition to shot. (assuming the mold is original with the gun). John Manton and company was run by the widow and the foreman of John Manton after his death and I presume that is who made the gun. Should be a fun gun to shoot; appears to be in good shape with the original browning and damascus pattern still showing

What happened to your toe?
Looks to be a respectable gun in very nice condition. Are the bores as good as the exterior?
