160 acres Private Hunting

As I’ve matured as a hunter I enjoy travelling farther afield and experiencing different environments to “walk my gun” in.
This means knocking on the door of a stranger. I’m not the most gregarious person and feel awkward at what amounts to asking for a favour, so I bring a little gift (not booze) to break the ice and thank them for their time. I insist they keep the gift permission granted or not.
Am I guilty of paying for hunting?
You seriously don't get the difference between tipping someone in thanks for free access and being charged an access fee? :rolleyes:

If by not publicly admitting to crimes, that makes me no fun at parties then ...... :rolleyes:
