Has anyone tried 158/160 grain RN in 9mm ? Not looking to try to reinvent the wheel just thought it would be a different load than the 124 or 147 gr i load.
If so did you find slower powders worked best ie true blue blue dot WSF etc over faster ones bullseye titegroup Accurate 2 etc
Thanks in advance

3.5 - 4gr of unique was popular for 158gr

The Israeli sub sonic load for the UZI was 158gr- I've always suspected they just loaded (available) .38special bullets

Yes, I've got a whole bunch of 160gr 9mm loads. Off the top of my head don't remember what the load was. My goal was to stay below 1000 fps. The could be Blue Dot but I'd need to go look.

I have done exactly that. A 9mm will feed and fire 357 158gr FP cast lead no problem.
