1600 Husqvarna extration issues

I have a Husqvarna 1600 in 8x57. The rifle feeds good but when extracting the empty the bolt pulls the case halfway out then release the empty case , I have to pull the case out by hand. When the bolt is removed a bullet sides in the with no effort in under the extrator, when the bolt is rotated horizontally the bullet falls out when the extractor is on the down side. I followed the link below but it is on 98 Mauser which is a little different. Thanks

If the extractor won't hold a shell in the bolt face, the extractor hook is probably too short. This happens when some one tries to make feeding slicker by cutting the extractor back.

As stated the hook is too short. If you are handy and understand the mechanics you might be able to modify the hook to bring it back to full function, but I would suggest a new extractor and turn the page.

Try adjusting the pre-load on the extractor.

I bent the extractor 0.018” , it still release when the empty is half way out. Should I bend it more?
