Hey all!
So im making a moose load with 165(Speer Hot Cor) and 168(Remington Cor Lokt Ultra Bond) in .308 win for my fathers BRNO 601 YKK... Started this summer using Varget and only getting abour 2 inch groups@100 tring may combitnations... Finaly got 1" groups with the Hot Cor and 45.5gr Varget.. The remingtons with that load was about 2.5".... So now heres the issue.. Im outta Varget and for some reason the 40 Loads i made up with the Hot Cor are not shooting now.... Looks like a shot gun blast.. never changed anything. The Bullet puller is in the mail so i can pull them appart and see whats going on but i did try some with 39gr H322 and talk about accccuuuuurrrrrraaaaattttteeee.... 5 shot groups at 100 made one clover hole.... only problem is i dont own a crony and there is really not data avaiable for any bullets over 150gr with H322.... I have no idea what my velocity is but i hope its not to low... i would like to be above the 2500FPS but i have a hard time beliving it..

Anyone try it and have any luck with the heavier bullets and H322... what were your velocities? Im sure the moose wont know the difference out to 200 but i dont wanna be sending dad out there with just a modified 32 special lol..

Thanks again
Josh

Where are you, Josh? I've got a Chrony that I loan out occasionally.
It's the base model, so if you shoot it, it's not too expensive to replace.
