168 Barnes TSX, 30-06 sprg. What powder did you find had the lowest pressure?

how do you determine pressure values unless you have a pressure receiver to test the load you simply go by eye flattened primer which is not at all accurate stiff bolt lift which is some what accurate

I haven't yet because I'm new to reloading, from what I have been learning, I'm to look at primers, bolt lift, and ejector marks on the case....just been reloading on the safe side and learning what I can to shoot accurately for now.

measure your rifle for the seating depth or use the book seating depth every chambers depth could be different
how did you determine your rifle has a tight chamber besides the chamber will be cut to industry specs so it really does not matter what powder you use
The depth of the chamber is called headspace and has absolutely nothing to do with the bullet seating depth. Seating depth is all in the throat.

I also would like to know what the OP means by "tight chamber" and why that necessitates a low pressure round?

IF the chamber is cut to minimum headspace then just set sizing die to slightly less than that. No fuss required.

If the chamber has a short throat then just seat bullets to match. No fuss required.

Really not sure what the fuss is about with respect to a "low pressure" round?
