Is anybody loading the 168gr Berger VLD Hunting Bullets in there 7mm REM MAG. And if so are you jumping, jaming, or kissing the lands? Mag length is not an issue, it is a REM 700 DM and there is LOTS of room to go even 20 thou into the lands with room left over. I know that with 105 VLDs in my 6br like to be jamed about 15 thou. Also if you are loading the 168's what powders are you runing, I am going to try IMR4831 and H1000. Thanks

I helped a buddy get started with a load for this in a sendero. It had some jump, but don't remember the specifics... It did have 72 grains of retumbo. I think the book shows 70 grains max, but still not seeing pressure signs. Work up to safely though!

I load 168 bergers and 160 accubonds in my sako 7mm and it loves them with h1000.Makes tiny little groups that I am very please with. loading them at around 2900 to 2925 ftps, little slower but accuracy is more important than speed.I think 66gr to 68 just of the top.At least your shooting the right caliber ,7mm,that you can't go wrong with.
