so I used up my last 50 bullets from my old lot tonight. I checked them with my new comparator from Sinclair and the loaded rounds measure out to 3.174, I then broke open an new box of bullets and checked the first one after seating the bullet. 3.164. WTF? I loaded all 100 of them and they are all the same. Now overall length measured by tip to base, not using the comparator is 2.85 +/- 3 thous, but 10 thous on the ogive? very strange.

loaded all 100? shouldnt you drop a grain or so and re-work up a load when switching to a new lot # of components?

168 is 168. why would I bother changing powder charge. OAL maybe, I'll see how they shoot today.

168 is 168, 4350 is 4350, primers are primers, brass is brass
