W can get a couple of Coopers in these calibres at a reasonable cost. I'm having trouble finding much about them. I think the 22 is meant to copy a 22 lr but in a CF. Anybody know how to make brass or any good/bad about loading them?

A 17 Squirrel is a .22 Hornet shortened about 1/8" and reformed to .17 caliber, I imagine a 22 Squirell is the same only necked up??
I have no experience with this but read its very difficult to form brass for the .17 squirell.

Cheers!!

.22 Squirrel sounds unusual - essentially shortening the Hornet with the same caliber. why not just use the normal case and load it down?

anything to do with loading hornet cases requires care - they seem to be quite fragile.

The .22 Squirrel is a shortened, improved .22 Hornet. Ballistics are similar to .22 Long Rifle up to .22 magnum and possibly a little higher.
