I noticed that my brass is starting to have split necks from reloading. I realize I need to anneal it to prevent this.

I have not loaded these many times (I did not keep track). Just wondering if anyone is having the same issue? Is this common in the FB?

I load for many other calibers and have had some in the past, but only after lots of reloads. May just be a 17 thing and I'll just just anneal all my brass and be done with it.

I suspect that you have to make 17 FB by necking down the 221 FB? If so, then you should anneal, as such case (neck) resizing will result in the brass being worked very hard, and needing annealing.
