Can anyone tell me if these rounds are made in FMJ? Been out ptarmigan hunting with hornady red tips and they cause a little too much damage.
 
Try the CCI hollowpoints, they seem to be far less frangible than the Hornady/Federals- though I don't know why.
(My own tests on different media)

the problem is finding someone who will carry it....I live in Mississauga and havent found anyone yet form Epps to Gangon's...the answer is usually,
"they make those???" or "I would but you are the first persone to ask for them"

Sigh...

X2 for the CCI HP's. PERFECT for birds and squirrels. I actually bought a box of the FMJ's for tree rats......not good. That little .17 cal hole wouldn't even slow them down.
