I zero at 100 yards, which also puts me at zero at 50 yards.
I agree. I'm trying something a bit different; a lot of guys around this area have been using Scorpion Scopes. Not a lot of good reviews on line; but lots of good reviews from local varmint hunters: I bought a G2 Red Hot 17. It has a ballistic turret tuned for .17 gr. ammo. You zero it at 100 yards, then adjust up to 300. My big concern was that it might not return to zero, but after a lot of testing, I have had no issues. I bought it on sale from SFRC, so it was just over $200.00.

Mine is a CZ Canadian, bought for ground hogs. A colleague at work was having an issue with rabbits devistating his garden, and asked me to intervene. I discovered that my rifle shoots about 2" high at 5 yards. LOL. 50 yards; pretty much right on as stubblejumber says.
I'm using CCI 17gr. VMT, and they completely gut bunnies.
