17 HMR / WSM Challenge

Shooters of the .17 rimfire , is there enough interest
in continuing with a Challenge / thread similar to the
.22 lr 100 yd. and 50 yd. Challenge ?

8 rounds x 3 targets at 100 mtrs ( 30 mm )
5 rounds x 5 targets at 50 mtrs. ( 15 mm )

100 Mtrs. - CCI 17gr FMJ , 4 targets 33 - 30 - 35 - 38 = 34 mm avg. (outside - outside)

skwerl, you have to be patient. It seems that this is one of those topics where talking about it comes much easier than doing it. A lot of shooters have rifles that shoot really well until showing a target becomes unavoidable.

Rite on Glenn , it took me over a year before i realized that
I could shoot 5 rounds inside 1/2'' in 5 targets on the same sheet .

14mm , 16mm , 12mm , 16mm , 26mm = 16.8mm AVG.

Well now I might have to try this. I always took the 17 along on range trips to make sure I was shooting decently, never thought of doing a bunch of groups, occassionally shoot enough to wipe out the bulls eye but that was about it.
