What are you using to store and transport your 17 Hornet or 22 Hornet ammo (other than factory ammo boxes)?
I have been on the lookout for MTM 22-Horn-10 50 round ammo boxes But they seem to be as rare as hens teeth in Western Canada
Any storage ideas or referrals to retails would be greatly appreciated

Back when I used to buy ammo. I more reload only for .22 hornet. I kept the foam trays loaded rounds come in, I think the Winchester came in the white ones pictured. They stack nicely in ammo boxes. I would consider making some of you can't find any in the garbage can at your range.

I use the case guard 100 = RS-100.
Then insert a thin piece of foam into the lid to help keep them in place and quiet.
I have over 2000 rounds of 22 hornet set up this way plus 800 rounds of 17 hornet. 223 fit in the same box as well.
The RS-100 are easy to find and versatile for numerous small cal rounds.
Makes for a very tidy ammo cabinet.

The MTM Case guard RS-50 is designed for the Hornet. I bought my original ones when I was loading the 22H many years ago, now load the 17HH and bought another one recently at Williams Arms in Port Perry, Ontario so they are still being made. Might have to have someone order some for you, but they are still being made.

The one on the left is a recent manufacture, the one on the right I've had since the 80's. Those are 17HH in both.
