I wonder if my .22LR will even leave the safe now? Or even the .223's?

I bought the complete gun as pictured from Bashaw Sports, because I figured that I could sell the barrel, buy a 22lr barrel, and end up with a 22lr that I liked for a good price. After selling the 17mach2 barrel, and purchasing a 22lr barrel,I had enough left over to buy a trigger kit.The barrel is made by E.R.Shaw,and supposedly they aren't cheap,or easy to get.It was quite accurate, averaging about 5/8" at 50 yards for 5 shots.

Last weekend at the farm down south took out about 25 gophers in 1 hour and 1 coyote-gps'd at 115 metres-all breaking in the new .17m2....

God I love the M2....!

Too late for the poll, I guess.

I was hot to go on one when I read about it in the magazines of the time.

Lost interest at prices wanted for the ammo. The minor issues with semi-autos (one major draw was that I could slide a new barrel onto the 10-22, in theory) reinforced the lack of draw.

I can shoot 22 rimfire for volume on the cheap, and handload for higher performance, when I want to make the gophers fly, with my .223.

Been pondering a 17 Ackley Hornet, though, to get better than HMR performance on about the same money.

Cheers
Trev
