17 NMR help

Hi there I am looking at getting a 17 HMR. I don't know much about them or good brands of guns to buy. Anyone have any preference of the all round best one to buy. All I'm really going to be doing with it is getting rid of vermis and target practice

The Savage 93R is rather cheap, as well as effective.

You really should ask on the Rimfire forum.
Like Corps says, a Savage will do nicely. Savage rifles give you the best bang for your buck. Make sure .17 HMR ammo is readily available where you are before you buy anything though.
