17 Rem and 17 Fireball

They're not the same, the 17 Rem. is more powerful. I'm not sure, but I believe the 17 Rem is based on a necked down 222. The 17 Fireball is based on a necked down 221 Fireball, which is basically a shortened 222. Hope this helps...
