17 WSM Lil badger....who is going to sell them?

It has a litte more energy than the other chamberings. There is a gas-operated 17WSM. It all depends what you want to shoot. Non-rimfire would be more versatile in a survival rifle, since you could have a light load and a full power load. I wonder what a 22 Hornet Lil Badger would be like to shoot, an M4 wannabe. Anyway, back to the rimfire at hand.

I googled it right after I posted yesterday...... :) Pretty fast.

It is a fast cartridge.I bought the Savage 17WSM just over a year ago ,I like it and no problems as of yet and pretty accurate.

But then again, I like shooting all kinds of stuff, like 17HM2 ,17HMR ,17 Hornet, 17Rem Fireball, 22 LR,22 Magnum(new)22 Hornet ,204 Ruger.......and it keeps going from there ! LOL

said no one, ever.

Umm...I've said it. I bought 2 of them early on, one worked fine for about a dozen shots then it started to discharge without touching the trigger. Dealer replaced it asap, I sold the replacement...then sold the other once soon after. Uncomfortable, no fun in cold weather, cheap feeling, plastic rails, etc. If you had one that functioned perfectly and you only needed it as a pack gun (few shots here/there) then that's one thing. As a gun I'd reach for ahead of anything else for the range...? Never.

Not really criticizing, to each their own. I like oddball stuff sometimes too...this gun just didn't appeal to me at all once I'd used it. Neat idea, fairly priced, sells well~clearly opinions vary. :)

ive been beating the living heck out of mine this last 5 months comparing it to other pack guns and so far its outshining all the others buy leaps and bounds.
thats why im so surprised when you came on flinging hate about them.

sounds like you definitely got a lemon.
and as such lemons leave a bad taste in your mouth.
i can understand that.

ive got a Marlin Papoose that everyone tells me is the best gun ever made and it patterns like a shotgun, by far the worst 22 ive ever shot - lemons come in every brand.
