I was going to experiment with a 175 grain Hornady Interlock load in my 7x57 Mauser as a very generous member here sent me some bullets and a recipe.
I have 15 of his donor bullets to play with.
In my component locker I found 25 Norma 7mm 175 grain bullets but discovered that they were .283 inches, unlike the .284 of the Hornadys.
My notion was that if I found a good accurate load with the Hornadys then I could fire a small group with some loads using the Norma bullets to sight in and go hunting with them, because they were virtually identical to look at.
But they are not identical.
If the Interlocks work I guess I'll have to spend the $50 to get a full box.
