Hugh's sixth shoot out to a mile.
Location Near St Isidore Alberta. Peace River area.
Well I'm going to try and put together a shoot out to a mile (2000 yd spot to wet & lumpy)
Interested?
I would like for it to happen Sept 23, 24, 25. Set up friday afternoon, shoot all day Sat the 24, drink and be merry around a camp fire sat night, head home the 25th. Limit to 25 people. Please reply if you can come.
I'm setting up a camp site, hay field, but it has no services. I'll set up an outhouse. Sorry but no doggies. I'll see how much interest there is and go from there.
25 confirmed attendees. 8 people on waiting/cancellation list, as of sept 11.
Hugh
Here's the range see that big cloud in the middle, right under the right side of the middle pillow is the mile post. It will be hayed near the end of August.

I have a spot picked out but my big question is what I should set the other targets at. So having one at 1760, then 1500, then 1200, then 1000, then what? I have 8 targets so far and hope to get more but I'm putting in long days right now, so no time to scout out plate. I want new shooters to have something at a reasonable distance so they don't get discouraged. And if the wind howls that day I want to be able to hit something. What do you figure the, lets say 10 targets, should be spaced at.
Time to start prepping the spot.
