The crystal ball didn't let me know they weren't coming. Not good for the 8 on the waiting list. Next years will be different, in fact, its already full.

Many thanks to tigrr he put alot of work into this to make it happen. For those of you who think that 1 mile can't be done with a factory rifle think again and a 10 power scope to boot. Next year will be much better (scope with more than 35 moa)

I was using a savage 116 338 win mag and a Vx3 3.5-10x40 and made a mile with it. I also made 1000 with my Swiss arms.

Thank to all the shooter for the fun and dthunter for letting me use your cronny. I can't ware for next year. Only 365 days to go.
 
I would like to say thanks to Mr and Mrs Tigrr for the great time that the wife and I had. Thanks to every one for making my wife feel welcome as she had a realy good time, the only down fall is my STW has now changed owners and I might have to look for an other project now =)

Hope to see every one next year as well.
 
It was a great weekend, in no small part to a excellent group of shooters. It was my priveledge to meet you all and enjoy your much deserved success. Congradulations everyone (especially my fellow lady shooters on being the first women to reach the 1 mile target at Tigrrs 1 mile shoot w:h:) I look forward to seeing you all again!

i had a great time wait,, i had an awesome time, my only regret is that i didnt bring enough ammo lol. cant wait for next year, please put me on your your list i dont wanna miss it. thank you to everyone you were all great.
espeically to ok tree for helping me reach the mile it was like having another baby(very happy moment)
 
This was my first time at an event such as this and i must admit, I AM HOOKED! Everyone was helpful, outgoing, and just plain awesome to get to know. OKTREE, thank you so much for allowing me the honor of shooting your rig out to the mile, it was AMAZING!! Great to meet everyone, and it was truly an incredible experience. Cannot wait until next year.... tigrr, you are a gracious host and a gentleman all around and I cannot thank you enough for all of your effort in putting this all together and having us as your guests.
 
Amazing fun. I will not be such a chicken next year and sleep in my tent so that I can spend more beer time with the group.

kmartel and Odawg - you are more than welcome. I enjoyed meeting everyone and had a great time.

I now remember why I do this!!

I have to get my 6.5-284 gun rebarrelled and more elevation for the mile again. 40 moa rail here I come.
Hey Steve s 3 - 308's did 1400.
Stevesummit still holds the 308 distance with a 1476 308 hit. I just converted the 1350 meters.
I will finally put a scope on my new 308 for the 1500 yd challenge next year. I need a savage 20 moa base.
Oh right spare time isn't in my household vocabulary right yet!! Need time to develope load and all. Should of built a trappers cabin!!

If memory serves me right I think dthunter got out to 1400 with his 308 also.
 
Yep, i did get out to 1400, but that was absolutley as far as the bullets would fly straight! Lol!

Absolutely loved it!

I am VERY happy with my 110BA!
It shot the 210 Bergers very well.
And the Hornady 208's as well.
I just have to dial the hornadys past 1500.
the 210 Bergers made the "BIG TRIP" without a single hitch!
I really like those bullets!

I look forward to seeing you guys again next year!
 
Reading all these posts makes me feel like a kid on Christmas morning. I CAN'T WAIT and I was not even there this year. I am glad I am on the list or next years shoot. It will be a long drive from the Hat but WELL WELL worth it.
