Gophers: 50 - 150 yard shots(vitals) / dead on the spot

Groundhog: 150 yard shot(vitals) / dead on the spot

Badger: 60 yard shot(head) / dead on the spot

Coyote: 80 yard shot(vitals) / ran 70 yards and piled up
The .17HMR worked good on the coyote and killed it quickly, however there wasn't any blood left on the ground, no bloodtrail. For coyote hunting I like a 6mm or .243 - drops 'em on the spot. That's what I recommend for coyotes - 6mm or .243.

The gun is a Browning T-bolt Sporter with a Bushnell 3-9X32 rimfire scope.
