Heyyall,

Was looking for a cheap scope with drop calibrations for my 17hmr. Cheap because there is no recoil. Was thinking one of those cabelas 17hmr ones . Wanted drop points to calculate how low they will go.saw a scorpion one, but I heard they have crap visibility.

Give thanks.

The Cabelas worked fine for me. Price was right

While it doesn't have specific subtensions for any specific caliber I'm happy with my Cabelas covenant scope on my Savage mk ii heavy barrel. It's got a "Christmas tree" reticle, including hash marks above the center point so when zeroed at 100 I don't have to aim under my target at 50.

2-7 or 3-1/2 to 10 x 40 with an A/O will get you results with the hmr.

if you want to see your hits, get as good quality glass as possible.

The Arken 5-25 are currently on sale. Chinese made scope but Japanese HD/ELD glass.
