I just sold my Cooper Classic to a friend,and ordered a new Cooper Jackson Hunter in 17Mach2.He did a lot of looking,and 17Mach2 rifles were in very short supply.

I broke down and got the Marlin-nice SS heavy barrel bolt action....2 months till gopher season starts......is 4 Mach 2 rifles too many?

No such thing as too many. I remember reading something like "you might have more firearms than you need, but never as many as you want".

I'm thinking a lefty Cooper in 17HM2 would be a nice companion for the 77/17. If only the Volquartsen would get here soon...that would satisfy the urge to get something new before the varmints awaken.

A hunting partner just purchased Prophet River's last CZ 452 in 17Mach2.Now three of our hunting party own 17Mach2 rifles.

We just got a 77/17 mach2 in on trade. Used but has less than 50 rds through it and looks new, or very close to. 100,000 rds of Eley and a bit of Hornady due here soon...
