we have been there for 4 years straight with black powder
i have been al over that rail line from the old old air force base to the the blue berrry road. lots of moose there
this year we are going down the river in canoes and rifles
i have google earth maps so all the cuts
we camp by the train cabin next to the bridge
go north of the rail line and she gets thick!

good luck let me know how high the rivers are please

thanks

We hunt next door to you in WMU 25. If it's anything like that in 18B, you can expect a lot of swamps, water, muskeg, bog etc. Argo's are probably the ultimate machines for transportation. We've been hunting 25 for 2 years and pulled young adult males both years. Terrible terrain, flat, boring, nearly impossible to walk, and estetically drab (poplars and pine trees).

The bright side.... There's moose there!!

Good luck!

PS : It was very rainy there this year, not sure about the spring. But similar to last year, so moose will be fine, but grouse populations suffer noticeably.
