1836 Paterson Remakes?

Does anyone know if any other companies other than Colt, such as Pietta or Uberti are producing these models? I'd love to have one but in the very rare chance one pops up they are many thousands of dollars for the originals. I'd be happy with another manufacturers remake.

Supposedly Pietta makes one but Marstar always shows them as "Sold Out". But the good news is that they WERE out there at one time and with a bit of patience and maybe a WTB ad in the EE one will turn up.

Marstar has been selling Pietta's for a few years now. Send Marstar an EMail, or call them, and ask if Pietta still makes them.

I think Pedersoli makes them. Expect to sell your 1st born though.
