1853 enfield

- Not in the same class as the old Parker Hales reproductions made 20-25 years ago in England.
- About the same quality as the ones now sold by Gibbs in the USA now, both are made in Italy now. Decent guns, but wood and finish are inferior now compared to the old ones.

My PH 1853 is on the block...
My PH Enfield 1853 is now for sale...enjoyed it on the battlefield for a few US Civ War re-enactment events along with my son but time has done us apart for this hobby so no need for two P 53s...the best one of my pair will make someone a 'happy camper'. I am not sure what Marstar offers but a PH sure got the attention of other re-enactors. As far as I can compare with my Euroarm one (my keeper) is the stock finish...the PH seems to be finished like normal military rifle while the Euroarm is high gloss finish stock...better for maintenance but not sure of fidelity?...
