Barrel length 28 1/2 Cadet
Block marked Model 1884
Butt Plate marked US 119 then smaller numbers 113
No Trap Door in butt plate
Stacking swivel
Shallow rifling
No visible cartouche in wood
Period wrist repair
Cleaning rod looks home made
Interesting rear sight. Does not seem complete, but cannot find where missing part was attached

Were these for training only?
Do the butt markings indicate origin of use?
