1873 springfield trapdoor

just had a nice trapdoor fall in my lap have no idea on value, and whats right whats not on the rifle. been hanging over a doorway for 60 plus years. took it apart to clean it up yesterday and its in surprisingly very good shape. in the stamp on the stock it is dated 1883 and appears to never have been touched as to updates or anything.markings on the stock are bright and crisp, no splices in wood or anything ether. bore is pretty good way better than I figured it would be. any ideas on basic value ? looks very shootable and hopefully gona test it out soon

Wow, awesome! The Springfield Trapdoor rifle is on my bucket list. I saw one at the last Calgary Gun Show and the asking price was $1,750. Other than that, I have no idea what they are realistically worth. Congrats!
