Anyone know of any dealers with any of these new in stock? I am looking for the 45 Colt version, nickel plated w/Ivory grips, 5 1/2" bbl (same as pic below).

Those grips are plastic. Importing real elephant ivory is illegal. Don't know who sells 'em though. You can get a SS Vaquero with white fake ivory grips.

I'm pretty sure you can get actual ivory grips for your SAA. Just be prepared to pay a lot of money for them. The white polymer ones are very functional, though...

Well, like practically every law in this country, sort of. there are conditions, and countries that you can import legal ivory from, as well as mammoth, walrus and narwhal ivory available right here in Canada. Bring lot's of money though. I tried to buy some chunks ofmammoth ivory off of a oster here a few years back, and he pretty much disappeared, much to my chagrin. Still would like some, if anyone has any. - dan
