I'm going to jump in out of the gate and say that for the money you are willing to spend, you're going to get good glass.
But keep in mind that no scope is perfect, regardless of cost and all have failed in the heat of competition... So make sure you trust the warranty.
Guys will jump in here and say my brand X scope has never failed... I can tell you this... at the World F_Class Championship in Ottawa.. all top brands of scopes were well represented in the scoped failed department. If you were there, you heard about it.
I would focus on features, like reticle.
Today, many of the tactical PRS style scopes are so over loaded with hash marks that you cant spot the vapor trail through the picket fence.
If you can find a scope with discreate markings you will be better served... Particularly on the vertical above center. I'd like to find a scope with MIL dots on the vertical up from center, but hash marks on the other 3.
With an FFP scope, you can dial down the magnification to reduce the reticle thickness and that will help you spot the vapor trail even if the reticle is a little over done.
So this brings us to magnification...
If the high end of your scope magnification is what you actually want to shoot at, the reticle will be too thick and you will need to dial down to the reticle fatness you like. Then you are running at less than ideal zoom... For this reason, you actually need more magnification than you intend to run at, so that the reticle thickness will be just right at the zoom level you want to use.
So having said all that, makes it hard to order a scope sight unseen, so I hope you can get touchy feely with whatever you have in mind.
Next is the importance of an illuminated reticle...
In an SFP scope I never cared for illumination, but in FFP I demand it.
As the reticle gets finer when you zoom out, it gets harder to see, but turn the illumination on and it's still usable.
