Really? I'm definitely cutting mine once I get a replacement
If the stock sits on a bipod the heavy barrel will make the fore end bend, although I can slide a piece of paper(envelope) between the barrel and the stock. An adjustable McMillan stock would be so nice, plus it would take care of the magazine problem, but from what I'm reading it's a pain to get one to Canada I might just go with a Bell&Carlson M40 tactical, basically exactly the same stock. Anyone dealt with B&C before, are they stiffer at the fore end?
