1886 winchester pressure capabilities

I have an 1886 winchester in 4570 built in 1889, (based on s/n). The rifle is a shooter, having been rebarrelled and reblued. I will be using it for my deer/moose hunting this year, (Lever action open site this year to increase the challenge). I know this action is stronger than the "trap door" rifles but is it as strong as the "lever actions". The 1886 listed is generally a modern 1886. I have several favorites for cast bullets but I will be shooting 350 grain jacketed to allow for more expansion in deer while still maintianing a PBR of +/- 150yds and saving my shoulder from the 500 grains recoil.

The question is then what should I use as an upper bound?
Any suggested loads?
 
For the older 1886's, such as yours, a pressure limit of 28,000 psi is recomended. After about 1900 or so, some 86's started getting nickel steel barrels, and you can up the pressure somewhat for these, to maybe 40,000 psi if the gun is in good shape.

I was planning on trying varget as I have had good luck with accuracy and the information I have looked up online suggests pressures in and around the 28000 cup for maximum charges. I do not necessarily want to ring every last fps out of this round but I do not want to start out "to hot" from the get go.
